      In the United States, community colleges (once commonly called junior colleges), are primarily two-year public institutions of tertiary community colleges also offer remedial education, GEDs, high school diplomas, technical degrees and certificates, and a limited number of 4-year graduating from a community college, many students transfer to a university or liberal.   The detailed guidelines for schools and camps, child-care programs, certain workplaces, houses of worship, restaurants and mass transit have prompted sharp debate over some issues.
